Be careful, Maggie.The provision of a Parking Permit is, as you suggest, under the jurisidiction of the local council (so LBH or LBE), not under the remit of PaybyPhone, so yes you are correct on this.However, your permission / authorisation to allow someone else (a Tradesperson, for example) to park in a Resident's Parking Zone and for you to pay for it (via PaybyPhone) falls very much within their scope and PaybyPhone will require renewal of the proof of your 'Right to Park' within a Resident's Parking Zone (as provided by the local council) on a periodic basis. This should be provided via local council documentation, as it would have been when you originally set this up.PaybyPhone informed me that such permission was about to expire in one case for me (for a car which I no longer own - I still have permission via another, very much smaller (!) car), so this is possibly what they are doing for you.If you still require this permission, then renew as per the original method used to set this up.
