Blocked drain pipe

Can anyone give me the name of a reputable local business/person who can unblock a drainpipe running down the side of our house from the top (2nd) floor please?

Paul certainly didn’t make his £250 call out charge (for a 15 min job) clear from the outset and if he had done I wouldn’t have used him hence my post.

Paul tends to get called when the upstairs loo is close to overflowing and no amount of 'plunging' has any effect.At least, that was my reason for calling him.

I had a blocked drain once I put some drain unblocker down the drain and a few days later shoved the garden get wash down. Job done

No need for a "be aware" post. Paul makes his call out charge very clear from the outset. Equally, in the unlikely event thatn he cannot effect a solution he makes no charge unlike some. Anyway, his reputation remains undiminished in Ealing.

Be aware the Paul Jenkins of Jet Clean Pro charges a £250 call out charge no matter the size of the job. In my case it took him 15 minutes to clear an external drain blockage and then he was on his way. I don’t have an issue with the quality of his work but I felt his charge was excessive.

For want of choosing who to use, I chose Paul Jenkins. I phoned him yesterday and he was able to come today. I had thought he would need a tall ladder which would have meant my back couldn't be done. Instead he used a suction machine which meant that both front and back could be done (maybe they all use this method now). Anyway, Paul arrived on time - early, in fact - and did a good job.

You may possibly find there are leaves stuck at the bottom of the pipe which it should be possible to remove by handpossibly using a bent coathanger etc.  michael adams
