I have seen some pretty daft actions by people on roundabouts, sometimes they are cyclists sometimes other road users. My most recent "roundabout moron" was a Chiswick tractor - cyclist with large cargo delivery on the front. I was also a cyclist, I was coming up to a mini roundabout and turning right on it. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the other cyclist but I was sufficiently far ahead that by the time he would get to where I was entering the roundabout I would almost be at my right exit. Plenty of room and completely safe for me to carry on cycling round the roundabout - or so I thought. What I had neglected to consider is that the moron, who was turning right as well would decide that the roundabout was completely unnecessary and cut across at 45 degrees thereby avoiding the roundabout (which would then be on his left) and cycling directly into my path as I came round the roundabout the legal way, thankfully my brakes are good so no damage done. I doubt the moron even thinks he was in the wrong
