Over in Germany, where Lidl originates from, it's not unusual to see "big" cars parked outside their branches, or outside Aldi for that matter. Germans, for all their foibles, aren't the kind of people to indulge in supermarket classism and in fairness the food on sale at your average Aldi or Lidl over there is usually of higher quality than M&S or Waitrose over here. Like many I'd like to have a Lidl here. And the Chiswick Roundabout lot, especially now that it seems that B&Q is moving out and a new building is being put in its stead, might be a good place to go.
