Many years ago a guest broke a particularly nice porcelain dish which I filled with end of evening chocolates. It was a ceramics student’s end of year exhibit and I was very disappointed. A friend knew someone doing a restoration course at West Dean College - the Repair Shop programme is on their site. I can just see the repair but it was a fantastic job.See if you can get anywhere with that lead other than that, if it has an interesting story to it you could apply to the programme..
