'GB' plate replaced by  'UK' plate

Well we are hardly GB because it has been a century since Britain was Great and we are not United either. Brexit was a clear indicator of that. Either prefix is disingenuous.

Steve, the "Great" in Britain was added to distinguish this island from what is now Brittany, once known as Less Britain.

Also in quite a few Olympic sports the association represents the whole of Ireland for instance in Boxing, Equestrian or Hockey. Often this is because it predates both the Olympics and partition. It is the same for rugby. An athlete from Northern Ireland in these sports could compete for Team GB but very few do as far as I am aware.
