Mace

Can anyone tell me where I can buy whole mace (not ground mace) ie mace blades in Chiswick ..... every shop assistant I ask has no idea what I'm talking about and Planet Organic even directed me to the fresh mince?I thought good old Sainsburys would have it but no, nor Waitrose, Holland & Barrett, Lemon & Limes, Planet Organic, the Source ....

Bart spices do blade mace. Apparently, Waitrose or Ocado sell it.

Thanks Gail but I need it within the next 24 hours and Ocado Zoom don't do it and our Waitrose is too small to stock it, harrumph!

I find www.spiceshop.co.uk in W11 is really good but wondering if Istanbul Organic on King Street might be good or even Holland & Barrett?

what about the nice Persian shop on the High Road further along towards Hammersmith? It's probably King Street - called Saffron I think. near Ravenscourt Park.

Not in 24 hours but Amazon Prime says they will deliver by Saturday.

Waitrose in Westfield if you’re desperate?

The one on High Street Ken may have it.  Worth calling to ask? I know it is a little way to go but will be worth if they stock it!

I'm staring at a fancy pot and trying to remember for the life of me where I bought it. It was definitely local , could have been Bayley & Sage ?Pickling season eh.

It might be worth trying Hakikat on Acton High Street or there is another similar shop further up called Safaa I think. Both have an amazing range of stock.
