I've seen it all now
Driving past the Ellen Wilkinson girls school in Queens Drive this afternoon at chucking out time. A great wave of humanity filling both pavements and parents parked all over Deena Close opposite. By all over I mean on pavements and both sides of the road, I've never seen anything like it. It reminded me of the scenes from the US when residents are packing up cars to flee from hurricanes. There has been discussion of illegal pavement parking on this site, here it was. Why the council haven't clocked on to the £s they could raise in fines I don't know. I haven't seen so many Japanese cars parked that badly before.
