Thought they were two reasonable questions.Strange my post ended up on Twitter when you could have answered it on hear.I really cannot understand when someone is so uneasy about all the dangers that can present themselves to children and adults in a very large city why you would even consider either, having children at all or choosing to bring them up in a better environment.I know you campaign for safer streets, but by the time London changes so drastically, your children will probably be adults and have children of their own.So You are campaigning for the future generations, which we all are, in various ways. I have spent around 25 years doing my bit for the environment, only to have it thrown back in my face by LBOH.The rest of the post was just a muck about how we came home from school. You have to remember SOTG was an industrial area, so were other roads that lead off Thames Road. You had the PLA, The Barges Works, R & J Parks who used to create anything, Seen Them Create up four Pyrenes Fire Engines to go abroad. There was Timber saw mill in Herbert gardens A lumber yard in Ernest Gardens, they had a small train that ran down Ernest Gardens to the Hardboard store where which became Worth's perfume offices, opposite that was a wrote iron works beside the Bulls Head Pub, and of coarse the building next to the steam Packet was the Large chiswick Laundry, Waldeck road had a few smaller company's.There was a boat refueling jetty from Jack Holt, OBE boat Building Yard on Thames Road, plus many more I have missed. It was a fantastic local community in those days, until someone ripped the heart out of it, now its just a empty shell of a place.
