I have a day 2 PCR test for sale. £36. It is the kind you take yourself - unsupervised - and post to get the results via email within 72 hours.Let me know if interested. Thanks

why would anyone pay £36 when you can order one from the government for free. A member of my family just did that, completed the test and sent if off from a Priority Post box and received the negative result by email the next day.Unless theirs something special about your test kit of course.

If you are returning from abroad you are not allowed to use PCR tests from the NHS, you have to order them from a private company at your own cost. £36 is very cheap. I paid considerably more for Day 2 and Day 8 tests from a company called Randox. When the Day 2 test failed to arrive I called them and was told that if the test failed to arrive that I should then contact the NHS who would supply a PCR test. I was also told that they did not reimburse the NHS for the cost of the test. It is a complete racket.

Nothing special about my test other than the reason Stewart gave. You are not allowed to use an NHS test and instead have to buy a private one. Agreed with the comment that it is a racket but one the government forces us to take part in if we want to travel abroad...
