CHURCHILL PHARMACY covid test

HiI cannot seem to access their website and the phone currently goes unanswered to trying my luck here.Does Churchill Pharmacy on the High Road offer same day test results on fit-to-fly PCR tests?(France requires a test taken max 24 hours before departure - most test centres offer 24 hour turnaround, but I need 4 hours or less if possible. Have a place on reserve in Ealing, but if Churchill also does this, it's closer and more convenient of course).Has anyone used their services and can confirm? Thanks in advance.

Yes they do. You need to go in/get hold of them on the phone for them to email you a booking link.

If you have been double vaccinated the timeframe for a PCR test to enter France is 72 hours before you leave the UK

According to the UK government website, if you are fully vaccinated and have the letter of proof - you do not have to have a PCR test.

Can I check with contributors to this thread ie travellers, if anyone knows where can I find out what happens with the need to do a PCR test 3 days prior to renetering UK when one has only been for 2 or 3 days in an orange designated country?

Depends on the timings but if they work then yes, I used the same PCR test both outbound and inbound when I had an overnight stay in Portugal back in June.

It is all very confused. At Heathrow on July 22nd flying to France we were asked for PCR proof which we showed. The check-in woman rejected it saying that as it was over 24 hours old it was not valid. The tests were taken 70 hours before the flight and we said that 72 hours was the limit as we had both been double vaccinated. She then said agreed that we were right and that the 24 hour limit was for people who had not been fully vaccinated. Coming back vaccination evidence , PCR tests and Paasenger Locator forms were requested in France before we left. At Heathrow we just showed our e passports and nothing else

Yes , if your whole  trip is covered by the 72 hour limit then you need only one PCR test. Infuriatingly, the cost of a PCR test in France is less than half the cost in the UK. There are plenty of places to get tested and we got the results back in just under six hours
