Fly tipping in Bedford Park

Sometime during the night of last Saturday/Sunday someone dumped a large amount of  domestic rubbish in the street which included parts of a child’s cot.A neighbour reported it to’Fix my Street’ and it was very quickly removed for which we are all very grateful. If anyone had rubbish removed including the cot parts , at the end of last week please let us know.

If anyone did let you know it came from their house, then the fly tipping and costs become their responsibility fyi.

I guess you are right Rob.  Several people have CCTV so hopefully we can identify the perpetrators that way.

The household whose waste it was may have used a licensed contractor to dispose of their rubbish. It is very easy and cheap to get a licence and there are very few checks that waste is disposed of properly. Therefore the householder may be the innocent victim in this incident. However, it would be very foolish of a contractor to dump waste in the vicinity of the place it was taken from originally.

It is often to do with changes of tenancy so it could be any number of people.  Sometimes landlords can be very high handed and not want to know (ie not want to take any responsibility) for how their outgoing tenants' possessions left behind are dealt with.  Once the possessions have been left then whoever clears the home out has to deal with what was household waste as business waste ie pay for it to be disposed of.

A neighbour has just sent me a clip from his doorbell camera.  It shows a white van turning up at 3.35am and you can hear the noises of him unloading.  Quite a good picture of the driver but sadly not the number plate. How do I put the video on the Forum

If you go to new.chiswickw4.com it is much easier to add a video there but it does seem to be giving an error message after every post at the moment even though it is working. Shame as it is much better for posting media.

Evidence like this can be loaded on the "Love Clean Streets" app.Ealing must be monitoring it quite closely as the few occasions I've reported things have be dealt with very promptly.
