Traffic lights on Bollo Bridge Road
I just wanted to post a warning for anyone who uses this road, even it is only occasionally. I had noticed increasingly how difficult it was becoming to drive down due to the amount of roadworks and cars parked either side of the road - I know there has been a lot of development happening along here for a few years now.The last time I drove down, there were some temporary traffic lights set up near the post office at the Bollo Lane end, which were causing some quite major hold-ups, particularly when one of the buses that uses this route was coming through.This morning it seems the temporary lights have moved opposite the new Sainsbury's, which was causing complete gridlock. They have been setup in such a way to cause queueing cars to completely block the road, and therefore preventing cars and buses to pass from the other direction. Myself and the cars behind me had to back up almost as far as Acton Lane to let others pass, and then had to proceed through a red light just to get to the other side! Complete madness - who is responsible for this?
