Ergonomic Office Chair

Any recommendations on a decent office chair? Don’t want to spend Herman Miller prices but need one for lots of Teams calls and writing, that’s easy on the back.

Cant exactly help but my advice is dont buy Faux leather. It was never made for sitting on and will fall apart

Do some research on back2.co.uk, then try ebay, i just bought a £500 chair for £100 and its great.

Yes - we did a lot of research into this, and the Humanscale Diffrient World Chair is excellent.  We've got several with the fabric base and mesh back which feels the perfect compromise.  Although I'm currently sitting on one with a mesh base.The mesh is not only comfortable - but great in hot and sweaty weather!Last time I checked you could pick them up relatively cheaply on eBay second hand - but even new, they're pricey, but not stupid.

Beat me to it with the refurb Aeron chairs but rather than eBay there are dealers who specialise in them. Whatever you do get the right size. There's little less comfortable than trying to get a 'Size C' body into a Size A chair.Trend in Berkhamstead are good.

I find ergonomic chairs chronically uncomfortable.  I just use an ordinary office swivel chair with arms, adjusted so the back rest is very straight, the seat raised quite high, and with a thick cushion or one of this v-shaped cushions for back support.

Yep, have a wide BenQ monitor. Just have to watch out for ‘well it looks great on my screen’… some bargains on eBay, new office chairs do not hold value!
