Looking to reupholster a sofa - any local recommendations?TIA

Bruno did a great job for us of re-upholstering, with a fair bit of re-building, a sprung Victorian sofa and at a very decent price.  Highly recommended.

Thanks Jann yes you are correct, they did an amazing job for us about 3 years ago and would absolutely use them again.

There is an excellent upholstery sorry can’t remember the name but small shop on seven sisters corner, they did an excellent job on our sofa and 2 chairs, reasonably priced as well. The chap had a shop near the kings road until rent got too high and relocated here. Highly recommend them.

I have the complete opposite experience of Sheen upholstery, I had loose covers made for 2 armchairs some years ago and found them to be hideously expensive and the covers are poorly made and do not fit properly.  I would not recommend Sheen Upholstery.

Highly recommend Sheen Upholstery - used them twice for sofas over the years and for an armchair (plus a subsequent minor repair of armchair at no cost). Reliable, reasonably priced, good workmanship.
