Cat grooming service - any recommendations?

Cats do clean themselves. I have a ragdoll cat with really long fur, and unfortunately, she hasn’t mastered the art of giving herself a trim around her anus yet.

Hi Natalia, I have a very fluffy cat as well and am well aware of the problems that can accumulate around the bum area! Last year I asked the vet to groom Alfie, assuring them that he was very gentle and would be fine with it. Unfortunately he turned into a Scottish wild cat and wouldn't let them near him! They eventually did it under light sedation. I've also bought some cat grooming gloves, which work a treat. Good luck!

This made me laugh so much I choked on my morning cuppa.....!!Would your vet not be the best person to do this?  As has been said it is a very delicate area and what may seem to be a complete pussycat of a pussycat could well turn into a lion when approached in that area.

Addendum: After Alfie's de-clinkering session, and having being left rather bald and exposed in that area, having never before being privy to the mysteries of Alfie's nether regions, I asked with some concern as to what the slightly angry-looking raised red lump was. After close inspection, the vet replied, "That's his penis". "Oh right", I said, feeling somewhat embarrassed, and hastily made a swift exit.So, Natalia, be prepared! It's not a pretty sight!

Dave, the very fluffy ones do need help with grooming, also the not so fluffystop cleaning themselves thoroughly when old or I'll, it's important to remove any clumps from the fur as it causes skin irritation, fortunatelymy old cat of 22 years was immaculate because I really enjoy cleaningand grooming them, and wash face he used to love that.

These are the best cat groomers that I've ever come across (I did extensive research and visited as many personally as I could until lockdown) and they are mobile across London, so no need to move your cat.
