Black & White Cat - Acton Lane

I found black & White cat on the road  on Acton  Lane not far from the railway bridge. It didn’t have a collar on and has been hit. Unfortunately it has not survived. I took it off the road, and is covered by some carrier bags. If you know someone missing their cat please let them know.

Thank you so much for reporting. It must have been really sad to see.If you live nearby, would you be able to take the cat to a vet to be scanned? It may give some closure to the owner. If the council collects it first, we may never know as they don't tend to scan cats. Thanks again for caring. Animals are helpless so rely on us to look after them.

It was awful.  I’m not local to where it happened unfortunately.

There is a post on Nextdoor https://nextdoor.co.uk/news_feed/?post=17592200410201&comment=17592221562828 (she has posted photos) from a lady whose indoor cat got out during a house move. I really hope it is not the same cat.

I was thinking the same, Cath. How very sad. Poor puss. And poor owner.

Hi Jacqueline, the lady from Nextdoor is struggling to access this forum. Would you be so very kind to contact her on this number so she can talk to you and check whether the cat you found is her cat? 07591405833 I have tried to PM you, but got an error, so not sure it went through.Kind regards,Evelyn
