I'm there six times a week. The best thing to do is have your relative exit the station toward Euston Road, toward the Pret kiosk just outside. Behind the Pret there is a small loading zone. Once you turn left onto Pancras Road you can signal and turn right into the loading zone. At that point the Pret will be on your left. Better if you can have someone else with you to sit in the car if you have to go in and meet your relative. Or put your hazard lights on. Rarely is there someone giving out PCNs. It is the quickest, route and away from the crowd should there be one.Otherwise the new one-way bit is from the station forecourt by German Gymnasium further north. The exit from the station feeds you back onto Pancras Road south to get back to Euston Road where there is a dedicated right turn lane.Should you get caught in the one-way for some reason, it's very easy to correct. Simply make the first left you can and go under the tracks, then make the next left again, pass in front of the Crick which gets you back to the Library on your right where you can turn right on to Euston Road to come back to Chiswick. All no congestion.
