Line of Duty

Disappointing ending in many ways but at least we were allowed to see it.

Yes I thought it was a bit of an anticlimax

I’m still a bit confused. All too convoluted for my addled old brain.

Felt that it was written more to pressure the BBC into signing up for another series than anything else. Can't understand why they haven't already.

Another series? That felt very much like The End to me. Don't hold your breath. There were always going to be people who were disappointed although they probably won't demand it be reshot as some deluded fans did of the finale of Game of Thrones. I liked the fact that the half-witted Brummie turned out to be a 'criminal mastermind'. It's great when endless 'No Comments' suddenly turn into blurting out everything!I've been watching earlier series on iPlayer. Series 1-4 are superb but it starts to flag in 5.

It was left pretty open whilst at the same time tying up the loose ends. Buckles was a useful idiot - no mastermind - he was just greedy and basically enabled the OCGs to do as they liked. Would like to see Ted successful in his appeal against enforced retirement and also that bloody bent as a nine bob note Chief Constable get his! Let's not forget he was in the very first episode when Steve refused to lie. Also try and catch the documentary 'Bent Coppers, crossing the line' on the i player, absolutely breathtaking!

I have great sympathy with Jill. I took the precaution of recording it so that if necessary I can subject it to a more forensic examination at my leisure.

Well, it’s been explained in great detail on various internet sites, but I’m still somewhat confused. Mother of God!
