Musical instruments for school or charity?

Am looking to donate two children's-sized violins. I recall a post some months ago where someone from a local school offered to take instruments but it doesn't come up in a search of Forum. If anyone could direct me to an interested party, I would be grateful. Thank you.

When my husband died in 2015, I donated his violin to a charity which works with disadvantaged children through music. Give me a few hours to try to find contact details.

Hello :) I believe the "person" was me, and yes we would be delighted to have the violins donated to our school. We have a number of year 6s coming up in September who had violin lessons, but don't have a violin, so these would cone in very handy. :)

My sister in law was very grateful for Susan’s husband’s violin for the Systema charity - which promotes orchestral music-making in deprived areas and schools.Do let me know if you would like contact details

Thank you to all for your kind suggestions. I'll be giving them to the local school as they can be handed over simply. Glad to know about Systema charity though and will keep in mind in the future.
