Credit where it’s due

I try to avoid travelling on buses at school finishing times but was delayed today. Lots of pupils from Chiswick School waiting at bus stop.Busy with their phones but set them aside when bus arrived and stood back for elderly people. Did not occupy priority seats and the driver made sure that they didn’t. Quite a relief !

That's great to hear - a note to the Head would be much appreciated I am sure.  It would be nice for the children to be praised!

Great to hear indeed. We just need to get adults to acknowledge the bus drivers' existence when they board. The numbers who don't certainly outweigh those who do.

When I get off the bus I always give the driver a wave and it’s greatly appreciated. They wave back and even blow me a kiss!

Today I stopped to thank a council employee spray cleaning graffiti off walls etc by Chiswick Station and was rewarded with a lovely smile. Clearly a man who enjoyed his work.
