Tree Pollen

My missus is driving me mad with her sneezing. Apparently tree pollen is very high at the moment. Anyone out there suffering with this ?

Yes. London Plane and Silver Birch does it for me. BBC weather shows the pollen count at the bottom of each days forecast. If that is any help!

Yes, it's terrible for me too.  I went to the pharmacy and got nasal spray and balm to use as well as antihistamine tablets.  It has helped a bit.

My wife is also suffering, sounds as though she has a heavy cold but it happens every year  at the same time.She uses a nasal spray and an industrial mask when in the garden to minimise how much pollen she breathes in.Does anyone find it worse at night?

Yes my wife is the same, I’m going to banish her to a tent in garden, sounds like a jet fighter flying overhead

"Does anyone find it worse at night?"I used to, but switched my one-a-day antihistamine from morning to bedtime, which cured the problem.

Our 'beloved' Plane Trees are the villains of the piece as far as I'm concerned. OK most of the time, but given a spring or summer day and a bit of breeze to stir things up and I can't go 50 yards down the High Road without feeling I'm choking.

My daughter suffers terribly from hayfever & I saw someone recommending this combination online last year. Within a week of taking these: Fexofenadine tablets, Mometasone nose spray and Optimcrom eye drops, zero symptoms.All available online, and it really was a complete game changer for her as regular antihistamines didn't really touch it & otherwise she used to be confined to her room at the best time of the year.

That sounds good.  The normal once a day anti-histamines no longer work for me.  Nights are awful.  Anything that might help is worth trying.

I can't speak for it personally, but seeing my daughter go from a mess of snot, sneezes & streaming eyes *indoors* to lying around in the long grass outside completely unaffected less than a week later, I would say the transformation was pretty remarkable.
