Well if that is ever built it will be truly hideous. Sticking high rise tower blocks in an area known for low rise development seems rather bizarre.1677 homes with some tower blocks being 17 storeys high, space for 400 cars (that is less than 1 for every 4 homes) and a total of up to 10 EV charging points - so clearly LBH have decided that EVs should be banished from the locality. There appears to have been no thought about where people would park is there turns out to be a need for more than 400 cars between 1677 homes - good luck with that. Then there is the issue of how those 400 cars will access the main road - apparently all via Syon Lane. That will not end well. So the planning committee have yet again failed to apply even the limited amount of common sense we expect from our local representatives (apart from those who voted against it).Whilst I am not surprised about the redevelopment of the Homebase site which has looked rather past its best for years, the Tesco's has always been a busy place when I have shopped there.
