We had a major mouse problem. I was able to deal with it myself after:(1) putting several sonic repellers in (not sure they helped much)(2) blocking up all gaps or cracks in and around the floor or walls with wire wool, for instance around pipes, near skirtings etc(3) Nailing wire mesh over all the external ventilation holes, especially the under floor ones(4) Putting all food away and hoovering crumbs(5) leaving industrial strength poison in a range of discreet locations (not accessible to cats or childen) both indoors and outdoors, including under the fridge, dishwasher etc. Took about 2 weeks then all gone.
