Amazon and delivery to londis Turo Green

My neighbours had delivery to this shopThey had a email from Amazon to say ready to pick up from 6pm yesterday They went to the shop today at 11 am today They guy scanned the email  looked at the floor No package come back at 2pmMy neighbour says on email delivered yesterday ready to pickupTotally dismissed her told leave the shopCome back at 2 pm he was rude to herAnyway she left contacted Amazon explained her story They  said yes definitely delivered to the shop for pick up yesterday Amazon gave her money back ,as she only goes out once a week She then gets another call from Amazon to say they are investigating and the item  is thereWhat going onAnyone  else have any problems with the store It’s the nearest to her , but  she really doesn’t trust them now

I'm a satisfied customer of Londis on TGT, who have delivered my newspapers during Lockdowns 1 and 2, and the first 6 weeks of lockdown 3. The actual delivery service has been excellent.But service in the shop depends on who is on duty.  They seem to have some part-time staff who are not very well trained in how the business runs.  So I make sure that any requirement is written down in advance, so that if the guy is not sure how to deal with it, he has a written note of it to pass on to his boss. That has worked well for me.
