Acton pop up cinema

The Old Library in Acton is to host a pop up cinema just as soon as Covid will let us. There is an application into the Mayor for a share of his High Street Regeneration money. Needs community support. Please go to www.spacehive.co.uk/the Acton pop up and like or follow. If you can spare £££ that would be great. Lots of info on the page. Could open in 81 days. Thank you.

Great to see something happening here after all the hard work.

Thank you all. We will hear shortly whether the Mayor's High Street Regeneration fund is minded to contribute to the pop up. If they do, we could perhaps open in May. No guarantee I'm afraid but after seven years out of use, it would be wonderful to bring the building back to the people. Lots of ideas and volunteers coming our way. You too? If you haven't yet offered a pledge (minimum £2) or "liked" and "followed" us or written a supportive comment please do so now. The Mayor's team make their decision partly based on community response. www.spacehive.co.uk/theactonpopup.
