Found BA Amex card

I found a British Airways American Express card by the pond at the Park Road entrance to Chiswick House Grounds at 3pm this afternoon. If you have lost your card, please PM me. The last five digits of the card are 85007.

Why not phone the number on the back of the card?  Alternatively ring 0800 917 8020 which free and report it?  Surely safer than replying on posting a message on here.

It could be compromised already and being used for fraud. That’s why the banks say contact them ASAP so they can stop the card.

Jim, have you contacted Amex about this?

Poor Jim must be regretting he ever posted this - good you are concerned Jim but you must report this to Amex.  That number I gave is a free one I got off the internet - hope it's not out of date!

Didn’t mean to be gruff - found one myself once and rang the bank, they told me in no uncertain terms to immediately cut it in two, and didn’t even thank me for reporting it!

Thanks for your comments. No-one has come forward to claim the card so I've since cut it into many pieces and disposed of it!
