Exploring Chiswick

The government isn’t ‘urging’ people to Stay Local!  The government is ordering people to stay at home unless you are unable to work from home. The government is allowing people to exercise once a day  but is ordering us to stay local.  The over-riding instruction is to Stay Home!

Totally agree. I can’t believe the number of cars out and about. It is pathetic !  I can understand all the delivery vans for food and Amazon etc but what are all the other cars doing on the roads. I gave up my company car last October and I think I have used my wife’s car only 5 or 6 times since then when it has been impossible to walk or cycle for a specific reason, like two trips to the rubbish dump.

Maybe people are using their cars to do their own shopping.Maybe they are using them to click-and-collect and support local businesses.But I guess thanks to Steve for lining the pockets of Jeff Bezos.

Still far too many cars driving around when we are in a lockdown. If you think back to the first lockdown there were hardly any cars on the roads. People are definitely ignoring government instructions. Shameful!!
