There are people who seem to resolutely think that if they don't talk about it and deny the problems they will just go away.  Funny then that there also exists something called talking therapy. For anybody who has relations and friends working in the NHS or on the frontline eg as teachers or other key workers they will know that there was stress before this pandemic with the shortage of staff, long hours etc. (Huge shortage in the case of the NHS.)  This is obviously now exacerbated and not being able to feel as fulfilled as you should in your profession because of this is obviously a problem. Thankfully they do now at last appear to have PPE hospitals.  There are families struggling to work and at the same time keep their children learning and amused.  Harder if you have no easy access to outdoor space and little indoor space - especially at this time of year.  For grandparents being unable to help when you can see this and being unable to look after grandchildren - worse when they are very little and can't yet phone you/facetime you themselves - is difficult.  Many people no longer have landline phones.  Lack of space is also obviously a problem if someone has to isolate. There are many families with inadequate IT equipment - tablets/laptops/phones and broadband for parents and children to all work from home at the same time.  There are plenty of unfulfilled promises about providing children with laptops.  There are various charities who are trying to help.  There is also very obviously a huge divide between the haves and have nots in this country.Although it tends to be titled a call for spare laptops it is not just laptops that they are looking for.  Here is the BBC Make a difference link to copy and paste:https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/3yrtgmkfHBbsXfQfYkJp7CF/make-a-differenceand something from Which?:https://www.which.co.uk/news/2021/01/free-mobile-data-for-schoolchildren-do-i-qualify/
