Please don't give up, Dan, cats sometimes appear days, weeks, months and even years later. Please continue to bump. You just never know when some news will come to light. I am very sorry that you must be missing your kittie today - I miss all the animals I have ever loved including two of my best friends (beloved and loving siamese) to different types of cancer last year so tbh this year has been a breeze in comparison to that. I understand, having had one of them go missing for 8 nights that sometimes deciding there is no hope and they are gone forever can bring some kind of closure to the pain of missing animals. When mine went missing I was in such terrible distress I almost hoped to find his body as it would have brought closure, but luckily someone half a mile away saw the posters and recognised the cat she had seen in her garden. But I think in these circumstances it is always worth keep posting, not just on here but also on Nextdoor, Twitter, Facebook etc. I hope you manage to get some joy from today and the New Year despite your missing furbaby.
