London in Tier 4

From midnight on Sunday 20 December tier four restrictions - similar to the last national lockdown in November - will apply in all tier three areas across the south and east of England.In south-east England, the areas affected are:Greater London (all 32 boroughs and the City of London)KentBuckinghamshire (including Milton Keynes)BerkshireSurrey (excluding Waverley)Gosport, Havant, PortsmouthRother and Hastings

Thing is Anthony, no one in Chiswick anyway followed the last lockdown. The streets and roads were busy and all shops did click and collect. I cannot see this new tier 4 being any different.

Other than the final nail in the coffin of certain retailers whom can do up to 10% of their annual turnover in the next 5 days. Decisions made be career politicians with zero business experience.

I'm sure many people in Chiswick did follow the lockdown requirements. I did as did many of my neighbours and we all live in Chiswick, I don't know about other parts as I didn't go out.How do people use click and collect without going to shops?

Bob, I think your taking my words to literally. If I can re phrase. Chiswick was incredibly busy during the lockdown and appeared no different than any other regular day before the covid virus. I agree with you that some do follow the rules. A lot of people appear to not care.

People are just tired of this lockdown and restrictions thingy.  I guess they thought since we now have a vaccine rolling out, they can be more casual.

Same here. We staying and continue to do so. We are getting Ocado delivery once a week and that’s it. 3 times per week hubby went for a run during Summer with a mask!I know lots of people in our building self isolate.

Clearly nothing they were wrong and it was made very clear that the vaccine programme is just the beginning you have to be pretty stupid to think the guidelines are no longer necessary!

From looking at CHR which is crowded with shoppers and roads full of traffic. It would seem tier 4 counts for zilch.
