HELP please URGENT to avoid repeat fines.

Is that camera in operation in Hartington Rd.   Elderly neighbours with no computer have not registered their car.  Very unfair if they are going to incur a fine each time they exit at Roko traffic lights.    WHAT IS THE TEL NO. AT LBH?     On line form no good in this case.   They are to fraught to do it themselves, can I or someone else do it for them?    During carer's visits, wife rushes out for food/petrol etc driving out at Hartington Rd A316 and back over C.Bridge.I thought the idea was to help residents enjoy a Safer Neighbourhood - Bah to that, absolutely crazy - it's made life impossible here in Grove Park!

You could do it for them. You will need scans of their documents. I helped an elderly neighbour with his CPZ one a while back. Similar process. He has email and we used that, not sure what you do if they haven’t got an email address though. Maybe use yours?

Thanks to both of you.  Unfortunately I can't scan anything.  It took me almost 2 hrs to do my own application and then had to give up as it refused to recognise my address would you believe (only lived here since 1975!).  Can't remember how I got hold an a real breathing person.  Not able to go through all that again but equally really worried that my neighbours will be building up a raft of fines!Richard J may well have already gone away for Christmas but I will email him as you suggest Lorraine, thanks.

No, I haven't gone away for Christmas - far too dangerous - but I've been busy on Christmas-related tasks.You and your neighbours have presumably had a letter from LBH with details of the Hartington Road LTN scheme.  Did that letter not offer any means of registering a car other than online?If not, I suggest that you send an email on your neighbours' behalf to traffic@hounslow.gov.uk asking for their help in enabling your neighbours to register for the LTN.  Give them your neighbours' names, address, and phone number, and details of their car(s).  If, in addition to forcing people to use online access, they also force you to scan paper documents, this is surely a breach of equalities guidance or even law, isn't it?  It's not my field, but perhaps you should also write to Cllr Katherine Dunne (katherine.dunne@hounslow.gov.uk), the Cabinet member whose responsibilities include equality, to point out that they must take account of people who can't apply online for a permit.
