Cormorants.  That's what this forum should debate.Among other associated facts to consider seriously:-  Cormorants don't wear masks or underpants.  But they do have feathers.  Maybe it's feathers people need when venturing into Sainsbury's.  Besides cormorants, I just read that Russia has just launched its own mass covid vaccination programme - before safety checks have been concluded.  Like in WW2, for Mister Putin this isn't a problem.  If a few million Muscovites drop dead in January there's plenty more where they came from..

Stuart Kerr ● 2153d

All this talk of cormorants made me think you were reporting a mass corvid vaccination problem.

Ken Munn ● 2153d

Interesting point Ken...Another thing about cormorants is they don't need delivery vehicles.  Neither do they ride bikes.  When it comes to carbon footprints, cormorants are well down the culprit list.  Robins are a bit similar.

Stuart Kerr ● 2153d

Cormorants are stunning creatures, but are big carriers of bird flu.

Roger Talbot ● 2153d

Cormorants are a big problem for inland waters. I know a few anglers who want to see a mass cull.

Russell Pearson ● 2153d

And what do those anglers do when they catch their Fish? For the cormorants one supposes it is their only recourse to food, not just a hobby.

Vivienne Cox ● 2153d

Corvus Marinus, the sea crow. Invasive species inland, apex predator, wipes out entire fish stocks. They stab the fish I’m told and don’t always eat them. Pop along to Chiswick House - never seen any large fish at all, but you may well see a couple of cormorants. Unlike Kew where the reverse is  true, at least the last time I visited.

Russell Pearson ● 2153d

Why on earth are we still stuck on cormorants?  Nobody cares about bloody  cormorants.  Cormorants are so yesterday. This morning it's black pudding.Meanwhile, cormorants were nothing but a cheap and lousy metaphor for bikes.  Nobody wants to live through another avalanche of cormorant anecdotes in which the same old  forumers go out for a morning walk, nearly get murdered by a lycra-clad cormorant on a bike – and the only thing that enters his-her head is to march straight back home and report the amazing incident to the local forum.  So I won't go on about cormorants.Or the teenage cormorant riding a bike on the pavement who misses 'taking out' an innocent puppy by less than a quarter of an inch and gets discussed for weeks on end.Read one read a thousand.  Boring beyond belief. This sort of idle gossip only demonises cormorants.Whereas, the Macken “Stornaway” black pudding is almost certainly the greatest black pudding in town.  That is, if one likes the occasional treat of black pudding. But I'm not sure about the black pudding's carbon footprint.

Stuart Kerr ● 2153d

Black pudding is definitely a form of waste reduction - but definitely not a form of waist reduction.

Great news folks!Trump has won the US Election by a landslide. The Covid 19 hoax is about to be exposed. No more lockdowns, masks or vaccines. The Great Reset agenda is collapsing,No more New Normal. The BBC and social media will be forced to publish the truth.Lots of nasty people will be going to prison for crimes against humanity. The Great Awakening will happen soon.Trust me..

bobby osborne ● 2152d

Was told ever trust someone who says 'trust me'

Janice Evans ● 2152d

bo > "The Great Awakening will happen soon."You're joking.Not another one.Oh for God's sake.I can't stand this.

John Whitworth ● 2152d

Bobby, two questions, firstly who (or what) is going to force the BBC and social media to publish 'the truth'.And when is this going to happen? You answering something more specific than just 'soon' would be interesting.

Andrew Jones ● 2152d

In a nutshell ..BBC are censoring the evidence of election fraud and not covering the mind boggling legal challenges. It’s a hugely important story. This country has ‘fallen’.Facebook and Twitter are hiding behind Article 230. Either the Deep State succeeds with the coup against the President or Trump releases the details of their collusion with China and other foreign entities. The truth about the pandemic is coming out and that will delay the roll out of The Great Reset. The Globalists are panicking hence desperate and futile lockdowns and rushing out of the vaccines. The public in the U.K. and Europe will be distracted by debating scotch eggs and the manufactured squabble about the French stealing our haddock. Its complicated but the public will only find out about this in hindsight.Next 2 weeks will see the sting enacted.Probably no decision on who wins US election until January after all the deals have been done. Possible State of Emergency and Martial Law.As i told everybody a few weeks ago the media blackout has denied people access to the truth. I piled money on Trump at 32-1 and odds are now 24-1 so I am already showing a tidy profit. It’s on a knife edge .You are all being lied to and not by me !

bobby osborne ● 2152d

Thanks Bobby, You just wrote about the BBC 'censoring' evidence of election fraud however you didn't actually answer the first question I asked you, namely, "who (or what) is going to force the BBC and social media to publish 'the truth'?"You did after all previously write "The BBC and social media will be forced to publish the truth." which is why I asked the question. The fact that you've made money on Trump doesn't in my mind prove anything other than perhaps there are more people around who think Trump might win the election, but if there has to be uncertainty well done for managing to profit on it. That's a very unsophisticated simplistic analysis of course!I await the next two weeks with interest.

The BBC is funded by vested interests so here are 2 routes to forcing them to report alternative narratives to the current agenda..1. The public outcry when evidence that information is being suppressed. The banning of the freedom to assemble and protest and the strategic use of lockdowns and tier systems inhibits the dissemination of truth,2..Legislation to make social media accountable for their censorship.Facebook and Twitter are hiding behind Article 230.This is why the outcome of the US election and the legal challenges are so vital.

bobby osborne ● 2152d

Aaaah, another one.

Chris Blackwell ● 2152d

The BBC is funded by license payers - at least for the moment.  Hardly what most people would call ‘vested interests’.  Of course certain vested interests would love to change that and their job is made easier when false accusations are made against the Corporation.

Alastair Banton ● 2152d

"The BBC is funded by license payers.."The BBC is funded by Americans ? Who knew ?

Richard Greenhough ● 2151d

I could give you a long list of organisations that fund the BBC through ‘grants’ and ‘donations’. The most obvious being The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

bobby osborne ● 2151d

bo > "The most obvious being The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation."No, not the most obvious. If you really wanted to be obvious you'd have crowbarred George Soros in there as well.

John Whitworth ● 2151d

I’m sure you could, but it would still probably be misleading.  The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation contribute £1,569k to the charity arm of the BBC, Media Action.  It may sound a lot but it’s about 0.03% of the BBC’s total income, the great majority of which still comes from licence holders.
