Strand on the Green PO

FYI - my mother will be opening the post office full-time and working usual hours from Weds 2nd Dec until Xmas eve. I usually take time off work every year to help out but will be taking more time off this year - we think that's the only way for her to work full-time to meet the huge demand during the Xmas rush whilst also keeping safe given the R rate.To confirm, the usual hours are:Monday - 9am to 5.30pm (closed 1pm to 2pm)Tuesday - 9am to 5.30pm (closed 1pm to 2pm)Wednesday - 9am to 1pmThursday - 9am to 5.30pm (closed 1pm to 2pm)Friday - 9am to 5.30pm (closed 1pm to 2pm)Saturday - 9am to 1pmPlease see the list of Xmas last posting dates - https://www.postoffice.co.uk/last-posting-dates

Thank you Milan. I know that the service provided by your mother is much appreciated by residents in the Grove Park Area. A local post office is traditionally part of the glue that holds a community together. A real case of use it or lose it.

Samia - sorry John is no longer wanting anything more for his charity.  They have no local storage space so I think the entire thing has moved to a different area altogether, into central London I think.  Thanks for your offer.  try the various other charities mentioned on this Forum.
