The cab driver who brought me back from the dentist today said he thought his blood pressure had gone up so much since the new arrangements and he is frequently furious at the logjams. His theory is that whoever designed it did it on the back of an envelope after having a few too many. I couldn't believe my eyes going down TGT - the first time I have been through it since they put up those bollards. What on earth is the point? No one at all in the bollarded areas, while traffic barely able to pass and badly snarled up. 'All complete waste of money' my driver said. He is absolutely right.
