Knitting wool request for charity knitting....Please!

my bi-annual request  -  I’m still/again on the hunt for knitting wool ... double knit preferred but any quality/thickness/color received that can’t be used by my now 95 yr old Mum in Law will be passed to a knitting group who make twiddle muffs for Dementia patients. Absolutely none will be wasted. MIL still wades through bags of it and has very little left. Please have a root around to see if you’ve anything to donate. I can pick up (generally/relatively local) or, if more convenient, any donations can be dropped off where I work on King Street. Thank you for bumping my message - as you know I’ve been ‘scolded’ in the past for doing this myself! Also, a thank you to Catherine for your previous donations and for keeping me in mind for the future.... The knitting really keeps my Mum in Law going as it gives her a sense of purpose and a connection to the outside world, particularly during Covid lockdown when we’re not allowed to visit. Being 96, living on your own and unable to see her only two regular visiting family members is tough at the best of times but winter and wind stop her from even going for her daily walk when she can talk to anyone who will stop long enough to engage with her. She’s absolutely amazing but there’s some things I can give her a helping hand with....ie collecting wool from some extremely kind people such as yourselves - thank you xx

We try to raise founds for the charity of our choice - school in Vietnam. Very slow this year which is understandable. I saved your number and will ask my family abroad. They anyway will sent Christmas parcels and wool is very light Keep up the good work and hopefully talk soon.
