John Lewis Christmas advert.

I’ve just watched this heartbreaking advert. It didn’t make me want to jump up and start my Christmas list. It just made me feel like burying my head in a cushion and crying.I suppose there are lots of spins on the story.  I’m going to be miserable all day now !

I agree Maureen. Just a load of people looking miserable and arguing. Hardly cheerful and festive. Such a shame as I always look forward to their Christmas ads.

I thought they said they aren't doing a Christmas ad this year. Nor are they paying staff ("partners") an annual bonus.
