What Second Lockdown!!!!

Really doesn't appear to be much of a lockdown going on in Chiswick and Hammersmith. Everybody out and about. Most of the shops are also open (secretly). Seems like any other day with everyone getting on with there day to day life.

Yeah, bizarre really. I personally think people are fed up along with shop owners and just want to be left alone to get on with life. It was very busy this afternoon all over CHR.

Indeed Susan, and it also begs the question of why they relied on data that was 3 weeks out of date, and took seriously the spurious projections based on it.

I arrived home from Athens yesterday and they are taking it all extremely seriously despite having much lower deaths and infections then we doMasks for example must be worn both indoors and outdoors in all public places and this applies to children as well or they face a 150 Euro fine with no exceptions

Nobody regulating. Other countries you have to print a piece of paper to state reason for journey and prove it if stopped otherwise fined. Now there are no fines for driving down Turnham Green the council could be fining those flouting covid rules.

Well yeah, those are closed. But everybody's out in mass. My point is why bother closing all those places if no one is staying indoors. Chiswick and Hammersmith the same as yesterday were teaming with people wandering around. Why damage businesses!!? As said not that I agree with this lockdown, but just do not see the point if you have hundred, if not thousands wandering around in groups meeting there friends. It's irritating me living on Chiswick High road watching this all day, everyday.

and to add I have seen zero police all day and just one ambulance that got stuck on Chiswick High road due to a cycle lane that is now a third of the size of the road.

Ha ha, sorry this is a Sun news article from today about lockdown. It seems that Chiswick is not the only place in the UK to be swarming during lockdown. The whole countries escaped. Sorry, but seriously, what is this lockdown. It's more like London marathon.

Cycle lane complete lunacy. Cyclists must now pay a road fund licence; insurance; and also have a bicycle registration mark as there is an accident waiting to happen and as usual the motorist will be blamed again, it’s not always the motorists fault.
