Passport to Pimlico/Frestonia

Chiswick's quickly becoming a revival of the 1949 Ealing Comedy 'Passport to Pimlico'! On the other hand if only we could make Chiswick a revival of the 1970's real life North Kensington where squatters battled with Kensington, Hammersmith and the GLC Councils to protect and independantly take over an area in W10/W11 to go down in history and named Frestonia. We could give LBH and LBE a run for their money.... if we could become independant!

Why, is Mr Pemberton planning a new lido? The perma-puddle at the junction of TGT and the High Road could be a candidate. Shame that TfL has no money to repair its underlying pothole because they've wasted it on CS9.

There's also the other great lake at the intersection of Mayfield and CHR on the south side in front of the funeral parlor. It's never been a good situation for pedestrians in the rain. And now it floods the cycle lane. I wonder what happens when it gets cold enough to freeze?
