New Virtual Queuing app at Sainsburys Richmond.

I haven't tried this - just saw the post on 'Nextdoor'(thanks to Jat Sahota):There's a new app called ufirst being trialled by Sainsburys at their supermarket on the lower Richmond Rd. It's quite clever:you don't have to queue at the entrance in the cold or wet, but can join the queue virtually from home or in the car. It lets you know when its your turn to approach the entrance and in you go!

Are there queues there? I haven't had to queue to get into a shop since about May.

Neither have I but not to worry LBH have a cunning plan.  With the road restrictions at Hartingdon Road & Staveley Road  and the inevitable jam at the approach to Hogarth Roundabout they intend to make it too difficult for people in Chiswick to shop at Sainsbury's Richmond - or indeed go to Richmond at all

The phasing of the traffic lights at Hartington Road appears to have been changed. Last week only 3 or 4 cars got through but yesterday it was more like 7 or 8.
