Reliable wheel base for a washing machine - ideas please

Hello W4 people 😊 I need to relocate my washing machine and wondered if I can permanently fix lockable wheels to the base so it’s easy to make the initial move and make it more easily ‘mobile’ to clean under it/access plumbing behind it if necessary? I would really appreciate tried and tested options please as I know there are many variants available on line some of which might be completely useless. Many thanks in advance!

Wheels would be a problem if under a standard height worktop.  But you can get slimline "gliders" that go under the feet that spread the load and let you move the appliance more easily without damage to flooring.

Some hooks at the back to secure or locks on the wheels, would be wise to stop it ‘going walkies’ across the kitchen! I know someone who has done something similar, will see what wheels were used.

My pal bought his wheels from Screwfix, they do packs of lockable ones. You’d only need to lock the front 2, and very unlikely that the back would be reachable, as I was told when I asked if you needed to lock all 4 😆
