StewartI agree with much of what you've written, but let me ask you, and please answer without the benefit of hindsight,this:-1) would you not employ Consultants to provide expertise for services that the UK had hitherto had no need of ?2) how would you balance the question of maintaining the UK economy and stopping the spread of this insidious and indiscriminate virus ?3) would you not agree that this virus is something that no Government, irrespective of the Country, has no previous experience of dealing with ?4) you say our Government blames the EU, immigrants, lawyers and teachers for this crisis, I may have missed these statements but perhaps you could prove them ?I'm really not being contentious, but who would have done better in these unknown and uncharted times ? Yes Boris Johnson probably should have instigated lockdown sooner than he did, and not have lifted it when he did, but hindsight is a truly wonderful thing and if we all had hindsight as foresight the world would rarely have problems.Imho, Covid-19 has spread exponentially due to the utter stupidity of many people behaving irresponsibly and satisfying their own selfish needs above those of their immediate and wider communities.Everyone take care and think of others and not just yourself, then perhaps we can get through this awful crisis.Best wishes to you all.
