Half a Million Pounds Worth of Fines

Anyone else with CHISWICK ideas from chiswick collected money Ive one Funding the hogarth youth centre which the last i remember it had 4 years left in 2019 before money run out. Before that it was under threat due to council cuts ( central goverment cuts) which hounslow were going to close.

Traffic fines have to be spent on transport related expenditure, so they can certainly cover a few thousand Freedon Passes, or maybe a few more road closures, as they seem to be such money spinners.

Raising money at this rate Hounslow Council will soon be able to offer free travel in London to everyone living in the Borough.

..and make more money! What's not to like?!  Alternatively, drivers can just obey the road signs put in front of them, which is what you'd expect. Then we might get a more accurate idea of how the scheme is working - unless, as others suspect, this is exactly how it's supposed to work.

Exactly how does closing roads help people during the Covid pandemic?  That was Grant Shapps aim - seems it has mis-fired dramatically.

With such an “unexpected” bonanza maybe they shoul give the original grant money back !
