Should we expect sharp increase in Covid infections in Acton/Chiswick?

Looking at the details of where there were the most infections over the last few weeks I noticed there was a spike in Southall when they opened a testing centre there.Now that they have opened one in Acton I wonder if we are about to see a similar pattern. For a while now in both Acton and Chiswick there wasn't really a testing centre that was particularly convenient and I think a lot of people self-isolated when they got ill without bothering to get tested. Now it should be much easier to get a test if symptoms appear.Cases seem to be going up a lot any way but if they really shoot up locally it may not be as alarming as it first appears.

I guess if testing efforts are focussed in certain areas, such as student accommodation, Southall or even in Acton, then more positive cases will naturally emerge in those areas.  Many of the 1000 or so students at Manchester University who recently tested positive could well have been equally asymptomatically positive when they were at home, but didn't show up because they had no reason to be tested then.

If I am honest I am scared of catching this virus and not knowing if I may find myself in hospital to die alone or having other long lasting complications which may effect my quality of life or let alone loose my job, all very worrying. One thing is for sure, we still don’t know enough of this virus but one thing we do know is it is dangerous and if we all followed the guidelines until we know more perhaps that may keep the numbers down.
