Chiswick HR this morning.

The temporary traffic lights on the roadwork outside Boots are stuck on red west bound. No workmen there yet, i guess they don't want to get their hair wet. Anyway it is very tuneful and total gridlock. Fortunately no cyclists are getting stuck though.

"Fortunately no cyclists are getting stuck though."When I was walking the dogs on TG at 6.45am when it was raining heavily and windy more cars than usual on CHR and HT, but only saw 4 cyclists - wonder why that was ?

"Fortunately no cyclists are getting stuck though."Don't be silly. Cyclists don't go out in the rain. Their lycra will shrink.

Gordon you clearly have a comprehension  problem, where and when have I said I'm against cycling / cyclists ? Why not apply the same comments to Messrs Robinson, Campbell, Pike et al - they always repeat themselves ad nauseam.But I am against CS9 being sited where it is, the removal of refuge islands and the road restrictions because of what it's doing to Chiswick by dividing it and especially how these changes have negatively impacted on it's  businesses and made life harder for the older, less mobile and disabled in our community.

I kind of meant that they weren't stopping at the red.... The right call in the circumstances.
