In an ideal World Philippa but how can you compare any of those cities, two really small provincial ones and Copenhagen hardly a throbbing metropolis, with an enormous city like London? As someone highly vulnerable with a chronic lung condition I yearn for cleaner air and less pollution but .....Are you advocating a total stop to all motorised vehicles world wide? If that is the aim lets just say so and immediately start dismantling all these engineering works and companies. Other brains will have to decide how we are to get about if your own legs are not up to the job. Don't suggest back to horse and cart - horses eat grass and fart and big poos -good for roses bad for air quality!
