Sustrans - map of road closures

Check out the Sustrans map of Chiswick road closures. Partial closures are marked by a nice leaf, such as Harvard Hill where all journeys out are completely blocked. Is it complete?Have they missed out road closures in Brentford and Hounslow?https://www.sustrans.org.uk/streetspace-for-london/

The South Ealing/Brentford border closures are all correct, but I can't speak for the wider Brentford/Hounslow area...

Thanks. I was wondering why so few road closures for Hounslow. Been a while since I last visited - Hounslow High Street is already pedestrian only as I recall, but traffic in the wider area was busy. Do they not need any road closures or LTNs being made?

Ah, can't help there - it's been many years since I was in central Hounslow!

Have been through Hounslow recently and haven’t encountered any extra closures around the centre.

These are Hounslow's plans... https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/info/20053/transport/2171/hounslows_streetspace/2

So Hounslow is getting off, nearly all the pain, sorry investment, is aimed at Chiswick...

Why would they run the risk of upsetting their core voters.

Nicholas is spot on. There are thousands of very expensive BMW, Porsche, jaguar and RangeRover SUV in Hounslow West and Central. No ways will the Council want to p off these core voters. When you vote for a Councillor in those areas you expect something back, not betrayal.
