Osprey highlights 2020

Remember those Lock Arkaig Ospreys I told you about?  Dad Louis mum Aila and their kids, Doddie, Vera and Captain.  Well, they've all now headed off to Africa for the winter.Since Louis and Aila arrived in April, they've attracted a worldwide audience of thousands and were regularly featured on UK TV and radio. Now, one of the brilliant regulars on the website has put together a gorgeous video of the year's highlights.Seems to me there are a few animal lovers on here who might enjoy a few spare moments over the weekend and take advantage of this unique opportunity.   To sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy a close-up glimpse into the secret world of these magnificent creatures..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyrcjnhSYqM&feature=youtu.be&t=1

Stuart, whether it was a typo or not, your spelling of "Loch" the way it is mispronounced by the English made me laugh.

Wasn't a typo John.  Just a failure on my part to spot interfering Silicion Valley software, programmed to "correct" our English spelling..Happens all the time to many of us..

Stuart, I linked up to that webcam following your original message and was hooked. They were a joy to watch from their first appearance. Thank you for telling us about them. I now feel I know a lot more about their habits and especially their preferences in fish dinners!
