Yes, I have written to all the traders I'm in touch with through the Chiswick Shops Task Force to inform them that an ANPR camera is now trained on TGT.  I was going to post the info on here next - thanks for doing so. I was alerted by a resident who had been fined and whose fixed penalty notice (FPN) included photos taken from an angle that could not have been achieved by a mobile CCTV camera.  I checked with LBH and the ANPR installation was confirmed.  It is an existing camera but LBH won't reveal which. As a reminder, TGT is access only which means no driving through it - you'll be fined if you do.  It is permissible to park in a loading bay to collect pre-ordered bulky/heavy goods or to drop off bulky/heavy goods - staying for 20 minutes max (but check the signs for the time limit).  You cannot use those 20 minutes to nip into the shops.  I have asked how the camera will know what people are doing; it is making a continuous recording so there will be evidence if drivers are fined and appeal.  Exceptions are Blue Badge holders who can park in the bays marked "Disabled".Please check signs, though, as rules seem to change without warning. If you want to pick up/drop off bulky/heavy goods and there is no free loading bay, it is possible to turn round and leave by the way you came in to avoid a fine. I saw a couple of drivers doing this yesterday, on the southbound side, and it can be a tight turn if there is a lot of traffic - which there was with drivers unaware of the restrictions having not seen the signs or not understood the signs. As I hope you already know, we have asked for better signage but were told it is legal and complies though LBH said it would look at relocating the sign on Bath Road (obscured by the bus stop).  It has passed on to LB Ealing my request for a better placed sign on South Parade, about no access to Fishers Lane; It faces the opposite pavement and drivers approaching from the east can barely see it.There is free parking in the Central Chiswick CPZ during the hours it is not in operation.  There is paid-for parking opposite the police station, in the two car parks behind M&S, along and near Dolman Road behind Waitrose; along Essex Place; and dotted around Chiswick.  You can park in Sainsbury's for two hours if you spend £10 in the store.  I asked LBH for full details of parking in the centre and have been given a list of roads and types/numbers spaces but they are not plotted on a map and LBH doesn't have the resources to do this (I asked for one). I hope we might be able to produce one but it will take time.
