Boat Hire Chiswick

Hi, my partner and I have recently moved to the Chiswick area so need some local advice. does anyone know of any good day / half day boat hire companies near the Chiswick area. Self hire or skippered for around 8-10 people this Saturday 12th Sept. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks in advance

I can't help you with local boat hire companies.  I would guess that self hire would only be possible of you or one of your party are already experienced at navigating the tidal Thames.The tides rise by 5 metres or more around Chiswick, though this weekend is a bit less.  For local tide times, see http://thamestides.org.uk/todayNote that currently no river traffic is allowed under Hammersmith Bridge.Other useful advice is at https://www.boatingonthethames.co.uk/Cruising

They hire big rowing boats near Richmond bridge. No idea if it's currently open or if you're looking for something with HP.
